Successful tests campaign for Siemens of E320 Eurostar trains

CERTIFER has successfully completed the tests campaign in Belgium and the Netherlands for ERTMS baseline 3 for Siemens of E320 Eurostar trains

The Test Campaign covers Level 1, Level 2, Legacy Systems, and system transitions tests, both for conventional and high-speed lines in Belgium and the Netherlands and also the cross-border tests. It is part of the mission of our teams in France and Belgium who have joined forces to carry out all the testing, inspection and certification activities necessary to authorise the new version of ERTMS baseline 3 for Eurostar E320 trains in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

With the objective to run these trains in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Channel Tunnel and UK, it is mandatory to demonstrate full compliance with each country’s national rules as well as with the Technical Specification for Interoperability (TSI). CERTIFER was therefore involved in this ambitious project as Belgian DeBo, Dutch DeBo, French DeBo, Notified Body and Assessment Body.

This mission is part of CERTIFER’s strategy to join the expertise of its entities on a same project.
