Project's description
In application of the directive 96-48 relating to the interoperability of the European rail network, the constructor group asked CERTIFER/ADAF, as Notified Bodies, to carry out an evaluation mission of the design and construction of the European high-speed line PERPIGNAN – FIGUERAS.
This high speed line project was initiated 15 years ago, by the Madrid agreement concluded in 1995 between France and Spain. As soon as the concession contract was signed, the first works took place from 2004 to 2009 where Certifer’s mission was carried out on the infrastructure, the energy, and the control and signalling.
The Perpignan-Figueras line went into commercial service on December 19, 2010.
