Project's description
The project consists of the construction of the first metro line of Algiers.
The project includes 9.5 km of line with 10 stations connecting Haï el Badr (Bourouba) to Tafourah – Grande poste (Algiers-Centre)
Scope of work
Certifer has carried out an OQA (Organisme Qualifié Agrée) service in the following disciplines
- Global coherence, system approach
- Operation of metros
- External risks, natural risks and technological risks
- Rolling stock
- Command and control, railway signalling
- Civil engineering – solidity
- Civil engineering – fire safety, evacuation and emergency response
- Equipment – fire safety, evacuation and emergency response
- Platform, track and switches and crossings
- Electrical traction energy
The main activities performed by Certifer include:
- Quarterly reports on project progress and key risks;
- Evaluation and follow-up of the risk analysis throughout the project (from design to commissioning);
- Conducting audits of key suppliers and project management;
- Completion of the final evaluation reports for each subsystem.
