Expected to be finished by 2028, it will add 19 new stations and 24.8 km of track to the Santiago Metro system.
Line 7 will benefit from state-of-the-art signalling technology (CBTC – GoA 4), and all of the 19 new stations will be equipped with platform screen doors. The whole line will be electrified with a 1500 VDc-powered Overhead Contact Line (OCL) and will be fully underground.
